Competition Brief: What Does Amber Heard Belive?

With the dust settling on the first Amber Heard / Johnny Depp trial, Heard and her new team are rallying for an appeal. Given the incredible landslide of reaction in the court of public opinion, one might question the wisdom of any second round. Still, considering Depp’s own change of fortune after losing in his case against News Group 2018, perhaps there is logic in the pursuit? After all, it was determined that claims of domestic abuse were substantially accurate enough to support publicly calling Depp a “wife beater.” A quick peruse of the latest online coverage of him though suggests that winning the latest case in the United States has been enough to turn public opinion in his favour.

On the other hand, perhaps it’s not a “play” or “strategy” or “guise” or “plan” or anything else malevolent in the mind of Amber Heard. Perhaps she believes that she is a victim deserving of justice like any other citizen and nothing more. After all, she was partially successful in her counter suit meaning their was some validity to her arguments.

This month’s question is: what do you believe, Amber Heard believes? Given all the accusations, the charges, and the verdicts, what, if anything, does she know is a lie? In contrast, what, if anything, does she sincerely believe? If she was given a consequence free opportunity and confessed to you her unfiltered version of the truth as she perceives it, what would she say? Support your essay with a statement of fact.

Statement of Fact

— In 2018, Johnny Depp sued News Group in a British court for defamation and lost the case.

— In 2022, Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard in an American court and won.

You need less proof to maintain a belief when you already want to believe it, and you’re more likely to accept any evidence that supports it without giving it any more thought. When someone says that a spouse has been found guilty of beating their partner, the first image that comes to mind is of the man beating the woman. Few people imagine the woman beating the man, except in a humorous manner. When you are a man who has been abused by a woman, you are in a LOSE-LOSE situation. You will continue to be beaten if you remain silent. Speak up, and you will be critiqued. Even if you ‘win’ the case, you will be a ‘loser’ who was ‘beaten up by a girl.’ Even defending yourself could be misconstrued as an act of violence… If an action is in their best interests, people have a special ability to defend it. Never does anyone declare that they intend to be evil for the day when they first awake. Amber believes she is a good person and is thus right.

Depp v. hearD

Since 2018, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been dating in court. Depp is simply a former alcoholic with some mishandling issues. All of his ex-wives, former co-stars, friends, and even rivals adored him. They described him as “NOT A BAD DUDE, BUT A DUDE WITH ISSUES.” He was helpless, and she take advantage of it. On Depp’s end, there is ZERO history of abuse in relationships. Depp has denied ever hitting or assaulting Heard and his ex-wives have also denied of being assaulted ever.

Victims who use violence in self-defence may be in abusive relationships with a primary aggressor. Witnesses for Depp described Heard as demanding and volatile, and a marriage counsellor who worked with the couple testified that they engaged in “mutual abuse.” Domestic-violence experts dislike that term because it ignores the unequal power and bullying that is inherent in intimate-partner violence. “SELF-DEFENCE” is more accurate.

A Look Back at Amber Laura Heard’s Career:

Amber was never known for her acting abilities, but she was able to make a living because of her undeniable physical beauty. Amber Heard’s Hollywood career has been boosted by her relationship with Johnny Depp, and later by her claim that she was the victim of domestic violence while they were together. She never had anything close to Depp’s devoted fan base. Depp was introducing Amber to people, and she most likely landed a few jobs as a result of his efforts.

Things changed after the marriage, when she met Elon Musk. She had her sights set on gazillions of dollars and Fast Track her divorce plans. She didn’t want Elon meeting or seeing anyone else.

What Does She Believes:

Amber’s lying is so consistent that some people believe she must be thinking it’s true. It is also a promotional tool. When you hear something repeatedly, you become accustomed to it. Amber lied with extreme confidence, leading others to question their own judgement or believe she truly believes what she is saying.

She is the only person at the trial who has testified about what abusive behaviour looks like and how victims can respond. The irony is that none of this would have happened if she hadn’t written that article. She would most likely have gone on to have a successful Hollywood career. She is beautiful and has been raised in a time when she is “empowered” to do whatever she wants. Without any real education, skill, expertise, or wisdom, she believes she is omnipotent because men are drawn to her and she has been “picked” to work in the entertainment industry, which is akin to modern-day royalty.

Although she knows she is lying, she explains away it because “MEN ARE EVIL” is a belief system she has, and even if we didn’t do it, we probably did something else, so it doesn’t matter. She tried to justify that hurting him with the nuclear weapon of the “ABUSE” allegations was okay because he did something she didn’t like.

Considering John’s Side

In the past six years, Johnny’s life has been dragged through the grunge. He has lost projects due to her lies, damaged his family’s reputation, and most likely also caused significant harm to his children. He experienced abuse on all three fronts—physical, psychological, and detox. To stay away from her, he locked himself in the bathroom.

Depp’s main grievance in this lawsuit is that Heard’s op-ed destroyed his reputation, which runs counter to the throngs of supporters who have defended him in court and online. Depp denies having drug or alcohol addictions, yet his reputation as a notorious party animal still accompanies him. Depp characterised Heard as a volatile companion who liked to start fights in his deposition. Heard allegedly threw a vodka bottle at Depp, breaking his finger, according to Depp.

“I am now convinced that she came into my life to take from me anything worth taking, and then destroy what remained of it,”

Johnny Depp, 2018.

It is obvious that she is lying. She’s trying to repeat everything as if she believes it, but she’s having a hard time connecting the dots and keeps fumbling, so it’s obvious that she hasn’t even had a chance to practise.

But because enough is enough, Depp defends himself in court, in publications, and in the media. No one should ever be able to mistreat another person without consequence, regardless of that person’s gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. Following the verdict, Depp made a statement on Instagram, writing, “the Jury gave me my life back.”

And Finally:

I’m not going to say he’s never miffed a flutter. I’m not going to make him out to be some kind of saint here. He isn’t, however, A WIFE BEATER. Many people have lost faith in the #metoo movement as a result of Heard, and they have become more skeptical of women who share their stories of abuse.

In her selfish denial, Amber Laura Heard has also harmed the credibility of countless legitimate female victims. Amber attempted to bury Johnny under the weight of #metoo and the liberal willingness to destroy any victim anyone, but she was destroyed by her own evil. To be concluded, Amber Heard learned a valuable lesson.
